REIGI OY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. GENERAL

These terms and conditions apply to all orders and deliveries of items from Reigi Oy online store or otherwise using the Reigi Oy website (www.reigi.fi) to the extent that nothing else has been agreed or other agreement has been made between the Customer (“Customer” or “You”) and Reigi Oy ("Supplier" or "we" or “us”) (business ID: 3366225-4, address: Yliopistonkatu 7 B 33, 40100 Jyväskylä) in connection with an individual order and delivery.  

All items sold by us are referred to as “item” or “product” in these Terms and Conditions.

For the sake of clarity, it is stated, that all other Customers, except consumer customers, are business customers. Business customers are not entitled to cancel or return an order in accordance with the section 6.

The Supplier reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. It is the Customer’s duty to familiarise themselves with the latest version of our Terms and Conditions before placing an order online or using the Reigi website. By using the Reigi online store, You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

  1. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data concerning the Customer is collected and stored by the Supplier in the customer register. The privacy statement concerning the use of personal data is available at Privacy Policy | Reigi.

  1.  PRODUCTS AND ORDERING

The products available and/or sold us are made by Reigi Oy. Product information, features, availability and price of each item is indicated in the Reigi online store in connection with the product. We reserve the right to make changes to the products available in our online store as well as our pricing. The product availability may vary. 

A prerequisite for ordering is that the Customer has read and agreed to the Supplier’s current Terms. The Customer must be at least 18 years old to shop in the Reigi online store.

By accepting the Supplier's offer or when the Supplier confirms the Customer's order request by telephone/electronic communication/e-mail, or when the Customer and the Supplier agree on delivery ("Order") and the Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding, the agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by the Customer. The Agreement between the Parties shall be concluded when the Supplier subsequently confirms the Agreement or commences the delivery of the Order. These Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Agreement between the Supplier and the Customer.

Once an Order has been placed successfully, an order confirmation will be sent by email. Please ensure that Your valid email address is provided when placing the Order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used. If, for any unforeseen reason, we are unable to confirm Your Order, we will notify You via email as soon as possible.

  1. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY 

Please be aware that delivery times vary on a case-by-case basis. Our products are handcrafted, and production timelines depend on the current production schedule and the nature of the order.

Delivery details are agreed individually with the Customer after the Order has been placed. We offer both domestic and international delivery, using the delivery method agreed upon for each Order.

The Customer will be informed of the estimated delivery timeframe once production and delivery details have been confirmed.

Shipping costs:
Shipping costs are 9.90 € for orders less than 1.000,00 (thousand) euros. Orders of 1.000,00 (thousand) euros or above will be delivered without shipping costs. 

Pick-up costs:
The delivery costs for pick-up from the Reigi store at Minna Canthin katu 22 LT 2 40100 Jyväskylä Finland, during the Supplier's opening hours are 0,00 €.

The Supplier endeavors to deliver the Products ordered in a single consignment. However, the Supplier reserves the right to divide orders containing multiple items into separate packages, which may result in the delivery of the Products at different times. 

The Customer must inspect the Order immediately upon receipt. If the Products is lost or damaged during transport or otherwise does not correspond to Your Order or the Order is incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than within seven (7) days of receiving the Order.

If the Order is not received or collected, the Order shall be returned to the Supplier. The order will be refunded to the Customer after the Products have been returned. We reserve the right to charge the Customer from direct costs incurred from the handling of the uncollected Order.

If the Customer has chosen pick-up as the delivery method, the Products will be stored for fourteen (14) days, after which the Order will be cancelled, and the payment will be refunded to the payment method used by the Customer according to section 6 of these Terms and Conditions. 

  1. PRICING AND PAYMENT METHODS

The features and prices of the Products in the Reigi online store are presented in connection with each individual item. All prices are presented in euros and include the applicable value added tax (VAT), which is indicated in the shopping cart and Order confirmation.

For international Orders, please note that the price does not include any duty or tax fees that You may incur in Your country. You may be required to pay duty, VAT, or customs charges on Your purchase.

Please note that prices and conditions may be subject to change at any time. We also reserve the to cancel Your Order if the Product price is clearly wrong and substantially different from what it should be. This refers to potential pricing errors in the Reigi online store that should be obvious to the Customer (for example a Product is priced at EUR 0.00 or a Product that is clearly worth hundreds or thousands of euros is being priced so low that the price is obviously incorrect).

Payment for orders is handled according to the payment method agreed with the Supplier at the time of order.

Production of handcrafted products begins only after a minimum of 50% of the total price has been paid, unless otherwise agreed. The remaining balance must be settled before delivery. In some cases, full payment may be required upfront.

  1. CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY

In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki (38/1978)), consumer customers are entitled to cancel an order within fourteen (14) days of receipt.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify the Supplier in writing, by email, by telephone, or in person at the Supplier’s premises.

To qualify for cancellation, the Products must be substantially unchanged and undiminished, and returned properly packaged in their original sales packaging, where applicable. If the returned Products have been used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, properties, and functionality, the Supplier reserves the right to deduct any loss in value, up to the full price of the Products.

If the Customer exercises the right of cancellation, the Products must be returned without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the cancellation notice has been given. Upon request, the Customer must provide proof of return within the specified time limit.

The cost of return shipping is covered by the Supplier. The Customer is responsible for any other direct or indirect costs related to the return, such as packaging materials or travel expenses.

When returning an Order, the Customer must include their name, contact details (email, phone number, and address), Order number, the items being returned, and bank details for the refund.

The Supplier will refund the payment received for the Order without undue delay, in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

Most Reigi timepieces are produced to order and customized to the Customer’s specifications. For such custom-made Products, the right of cancellation and return does not apply in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

  1. FAULTY ITEMS

Please note that we accept statutory liability for faulty items regardless of any warranties. If Your item is faulty, please be in touch with us so we can investigate the matter. We will provide You further information on handling the faulty item.

  1. WARRANTY

The Supplier may provide a warranty for the products as set forth in the Warranty Policy of each item. The warranty provided therein is the only warranty by the Supplier with respect to the products and no other warranties of any kind, whether written or oral, express or implied shall apply. For the sake of clarity, it is stated, that the warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear, rust, accidental damage to any party, defects due to improper use. The use of the defective products must be stopped immediately, after which the Supplier must be contacted.

Certain products may include an extended warranty period, as specified in the product description or agreed at the time of purchase.

In matters related to the warranty, You must contact the Supplier. 

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS 

Reigi online store and the content on the website is our intellectual property.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Unless otherwise required by mandatory regulation, such as the Consumer Protection Act, the following limitation of liability terms shall apply. 

The Supplier shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (such as, but not limited to, reputational damage, lost profit or damage due to a decrease or interruption in products or turnover) caused by the use of the Reigi online store or the unavailability of the online store. The Supplier does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Reigi online store. The Supplier is neither responsible for late deliveries if the delays is not attributable to the Reigi online store.

Furthermore, the Supplier cannot be held responsible for the suitability of the products for the Customer's specific purpose. The Supplier also cannot be held responsible if the Customer does not receive the Order, Order confirmation or delivery or other documentation due to mistakes in the associated information.

The Supplier shall not be liable for any delay or damage caused by an obstacle beyond its control, which it was unable to reasonably anticipate at the time of contract conclusion and the consequences of which it was unable to reasonably avoid or overcome. A force majeure event is considered to be an unexpected and unforeseeable occurrence that prevents the Supplier from fulfilling its obligations under the agreement. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, war, insurrection, epidemic, pandemic, sudden illness of an employee of the Supplier, natural disaster, restrictions issued by an authority, interruption of public transport, public telecommunications or electricity distribution, strike or other industrial action or comparable incidents. Similarly, force majeure experienced by a subcontractor is also considered a force majeure event.

  1. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

The contract shall be governed by Finnish law, with the exception of its conflict of law provisions and principles. These Terms do not limit the consumer's rights under the Consumer Protection Act, which the parties cannot agree otherwise.

We will try to settle any disputes regarding Your order primarily by agreement, so please contact us in the first instance to settle the matter.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, disputes shall be settled in the Customer’s local district court.

In the event that a consumer customer dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Prior to taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
